On 15 January 2026, the Warsaw University of Technology will solemnly celebrate the 200th anniversary of its founding. As part of the preparations for this special day, a series of attractions and events has been planned to mark the occasion. Even before the ceremonial meeting of the WUT Senate, the Main Building was given a jubilee illumination, and its white interiors were adorned with decorative stickers referring to the University’s roots dating back to 1826. The white, gold, and navy-blue color scheme gives a festive character to the monumental interiors of the Main Hall, where the ceremonial meeting of the Senate of the Warsaw University of Technology will take place on 15 January. On this occasion, the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology issued a message>> encouraging participation in the celebrations and presenting the activities undertaken as part of the anniversary events. For collectors, the University has prepared a unique commemorative coin design referring to the 200th anniversary of the University. The coin can be purchased from a special commemorative coin vending machine located near the Main Hall.
